WHY OUR DRY FOOD?

We make our own dry food, using fresh vegetables of the best quality and freeze-drying them.
This process makes the vegetables virtually indefinitely shelf-stable, with a shelf life of up to 25 years, as long as they are stored dry.
This is done completely without chemicals, additives, or the like. 100% vegetables.

What's special about freeze-drying is that all the vitamins in the vegetables are retained. Only the water is gently removed.
For us snail keepers, this creates superb dry food. It can be fed daily or used for holiday care, for example. Due to the intense flavor, it is also a great treat.

A clear advantage is the shelf life and also the variety you can offer your snails through the food. Additionally, the taste and smell of the vegetables are naturally very much intensified.

Our snails love the dry food.
The dry food can be added dry to the terrarium or soaked in water.

WHY IS THERE SO LITTLE IN THE BAGS?
Freeze-drying removes all the moisture from the vegetables. This significantly reduces the weight.
For Summer Harvest, the vegetables lose 95% of their weight. So, 100g of fresh vegetables become 5g of freeze-dried vegetables.
