WHY APPLETREE LEAVES?
The leaves of the apple tree contain many vitamins, nutrients, and minerals that are important for isopods and snails. Moreover, isopods and snails in nature also feed a lot on leaves.
Drying and disinfecting the leaves greatly reduces the risk of introducing unwanted insects and fungi. Plus, they are naturally much more durable.
Especially our isopods like to eat the leaves.
The leaves can simply be placed in the terrarium and are also very decorative (until they are eaten).
The leaves were freshly dried (green).
